Our 2012 NewParent.com Baby of the Year winner Evyn has reached some very exciting milestones over the past few months. In addition to winning the coveted crown for this year’s contest, she’s been hard at work on some new moves to celebrate her victory.

“Evyn has just begun to sing along to some of her favorite songs, and will break out into a dance when they come on,” says mom Lauren, who added that Evyn loves “strumming daddy’s guitars” and playing with her older brothers Rylan, 15, and Ashton, 13. “It is very cute.”

Lauren submitted photos of Evyn after she read about the photo contest on the NewParent.com Facebook page. “We thought it would be neat to see her little face in a magazine if she won,” said Lauren. After 1,229 votes poured in via Twitter, Facebook and e-mail, Evyn claimed the 2012 Baby of the Year title and a $500 grand prize. Congratulations to Evyn and her family!
