Best Back to School Deals

Is it really that time again?! Summer is dwindling down, and it’s time to get back on a schedule. Say it ain’t so! If you’re like us, you’ve only just begun to think about your back-to-school shopping. For those of you who still have items to check off your list, now is a great time to nab some awesome deals, online and in stores. We’ve compiled some of our favorites, below. Also, check to see if your state offers a tax-free holiday by checking out this list. There are several states that offer a tax-free weekend. Many of them start today, so get ready!

Deals and Steals:

Office Max’s facebook page offers Hot Deals, such as a Buy 1 Get 2 deal on items such as pencils, crayons and composition books.

If you spend $15 at Office Depot you’ll receive a free backpack and lunchbag. Be sure to keep an eye out for continuing penny sales. Office Depot’s facebook page has weekly deals, and on their wall they share current store savings.

Staples is offering something new for 2011: a Back to School Savings Pass. The pass costs $10 and entitles customers to 15 percent off purchases and can be used once a day in Staples stores through 9/17/11. Their facebook page has products of the month and current deals and steals on their wall.

Gap’s current deals for toddlers are T’s: 2 for $20, Mix and Match 2 for $22 and Polos: 2 for $24. Uniform styles and backpacks are currently 20%. Be sure to visit their facebook page to stay up to date.

Kmart is offering $5.00 off purchases of $50.00 or more through 8/31. Shop in stores or online by entering the promo code EPICYEAR at checkout. They are also offering free shipping. Other sales include $10 jeans, up to 40% off on kids clothing, and up to 50% on kids athletic shoes (until 8/6/11). Kmart also offers layaway. Visit their facebook page here.

Walmart is offering deals galore: Uniforms from $7.47, Boy’s Apparel from $8.00, Girl’s apparel form $6.00, Backpacks from $9.00 and Shoes from $4.00. That’s in addition to their summer clearance sale on hundreds of items in the store, including clothes, toys, outdoor gear and more thru 8/15/11. Stay in the sale know by liking their facebook page.
