Walmart Will Open Earlier For Black Friday

The most anticipated Black Friday sales ad was finally announced November 8, 2012. The 45-page Walmart Black Friday sales ad is so hot, it even made the “Good Morning America” news and CNN Money Thursday morning. The biggest news is Walmart’s Black Friday opening time.  They intend to open at 8 p.m. Thanksgiving night, two hours earlier than last year!

The Walmart Thanksgiving - Black Friday sales flyer is perhaps the biggest and best of the Black Friday 2012 sales, with Kmart, Target and Best Buy following closely behind.

CNN Money reports Nov. 8:

“The retailer says its best deals will be on electronics, tablets, TVs, gaming consoles, home appliances and toys. Last year, Wal-Mart rolled out its Black Friday deals at 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. This year is the earliest that Wal-Mart (WMT, Fortune 500), the world’s largest retailer, has ever jump-started its holiday sales bonanza.”

Will the Walmart Black Friday sales ads deliver the deals everyone has been waiting for?  That remains to be seen.  According to the Boston Herald.com on Thursday,

“With 32 shopping days between Nov. 23 and Christmas, it remains to be seen whether Black Friday — the day after Thanksgiving that’s considered the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season — will be the busiest.”

Walmart’s 45-page sales flyer is full of deals. The Walmart Thanksgiving - Black Friday sales ad is split into three shopping events beginning at 8 p.m. Thanksgiving night.
