The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with Toys “R” Us Inc. has announced the voluntarily recall of the following toddler toy listed below.

Name of product: Imaginarium 5-sided Activity Center

Units: Around 24,000

Manufacturer: Kingsky Clean-Tech Co. Ltd.

Hazard: The small wooden knobs that attach the xylophone keys to the toy can detach, putting small children at risk of choking.

Incidents/Injuries: None reported thus far; the regulatory agency is still seeking injury reports related to this toy.

Description: The toy is multi-sided, has two triangle-shaped ends with a wooden multi-colored xylophone on one end, and a mirror on the other.  The sides are square-shaped with moveable block letters, gears and sliding shapes. The logo “Imaginarium” appears in a blue, oval-shaped logo underneath the mirror.

Sold exclusively at: Toys “R” Us from August 2009 to September 2010

Manufactered in: China

Remedy:  Customers have been advised to stop using this product and immediately return it to Toys “R” Us.
