Nick Lachey and wife Vanessa Minillo are expecting their first child together, Nick confirmed on Live! with Kelly, which he co-hosted Monday. Nick Lachey said Vanessa Minillo is due late summer or early fall.
Nick Lachey, 38, the former ex-husband of pregnant Jessica Simpson, said that after Vanessa Minillo appeared on the same show, she started feeling “different.” He explained: “So she went to the store, got a pregnancy test, and it came back positive. So we are having a baby!”
Nick Lachey said about the big news that Vanessa Minillo, whom he married in July 2011, is pregnant: “I’ve had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to. The fact that it’s actually here, it’s overwhelming.”
Nick Lachey said he and Vanessa Minillo, 31, definitely won’t be waiting to find out the sex of their new baby. He told Kelly Ripa: “I can’t take the knowledge that someone out there knows, but I don’t know. It’s like watching a sports game on TiVo.”
