Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill have announced that they are expecting a baby boy via surrogate, People Magazine reports.
The reveal took place at their baby shower, giving guests the option of choosing either pink or blue party favors, based on their individual guesses of the baby’s gender.
“We are so ready for everything that comes with being a new mom and dad!” he told E! News. “We just can’t wait!”
Bill, 41, and Giuliana, 37, have been public about their struggle to have children despite multiple IVF attempts, but announced that they were expecting via surrogate in April.
“Bill’s like, ‘How many kids are we talking about?’” she told People magazine. “I’m like, ‘As many as we can get!’ When you fight so hard for something, and want something so badly, you forget the planning for college costs, the struggle.
“You realize what a gift it is, so you want to do as much as you can to make it happen.”
