  3. TSA Changes Rules For Children Under 12

Tired of having to practically undress yourself and your children when you travel? Well, it’s about to get easier for at least one of you.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced today that children under 12 would no longer have to take off their shoes before going through security. Adults, however, will still have to. The TSA also said the number of pat-downs performed on children would also be reduced, though not eliminated.

If you’re traveling with your little one this Thanksgiving, the TSA also released some tips to help make your travel easier (and safer) this holiday season:

-Liquids in carry-ons must still not exceed 3 oz., and they must be placed in 1-quart sized plastic, zip-top bags.

-Try not to bring any wrapped gifts with you, as the TSA might have to unwrap them for inspection.

-No snow globes allowed. Period.
