That was fast! Blue Ivy Carter, the newborn daughter of Jay-Z and Beyonce, has already made her official singing debut. The daughter of hip-hop royalty makes an appearance at the end of Jay-Z’s newest track, “Glory.” Listen to the song, below.

Sadly, Jay-Z reveals in the song that Beyonce had a miscarriage at one point. In the song, which was produced by Pharell, Jay-Z says:

“Last time the miscarriage was so tragic/We was afraid you’d disappear/But nah baby you magic.”

Blue Ivy Carter, who was born on Saturday via c-section at NYC’s Lenox Hill Hospital, was named after Jay-Z’s album, “Blueprint” and her mom’s favorite number, 4 (like the Roman numeral IV, or “Ivy”). Apparently the little girl is making a stir not only on the soundwaves, but at the hospital she was born at. Rumor has it Jay-Z and Beyonce had the hospital on lockdown on Saturday, even going as far as to install bulletproof glass and clearing expectant and new parents who were in the neonatal unit from their path.

“They just used the hospital like it was their own and nobody else mattered,” new dad Neil Coulon told the NYPost. He said his efforts to see his premature, newborn twins were disrupted at least four times by the arrival of Beyoncé and Blue Ivy Carter over the weekend. They locked us into the NICU and would say, ‘You can’t come out to the hallway for the next 20 minutes.’ When I finally was able to go back out, I went to the waiting room and they’d ushered my family downstairs!

That’s right. Jay-Z’s and Beyonce’s newborn daughter already has her own vocal track.
